Hana Bank held a global wealth management seminar covering trusts, foreign exchange, tax matters and overseas real estate investment.
Hana Bank said on July 16 it held the Hana Financial Global Money Show on July 15 at Place1 in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
The event, now in its third edition, was designed to provide comprehensive wealth management information to dual residents in and outside South Korea and customers interested in overseas investment.
The seminar was held under the theme, "Manage worldwide assets in one place." It covered global trusts and foreign exchange management, legal and tax matters, international taxation, overseas real estate investment, and outlooks for global stocks and exchange rates.
Experts in each field explained, using real cases, tax and legal issues that can arise in the process of transferring and managing overseas assets, as well as points to note when investing.
In addition to lectures, Hana Bank assigned specialised staff by field at the venue to provide one-on-one tailored consultations for participants. It conducted consultations on trusts, foreign exchange and tax matters based on each customer's asset status, place of residence and investment objectives.
A Hana Bank official said, "We prepared this seminar to help resolve the key concerns of customers who manage assets across borders," adding, "We will expand overseas wealth management services by leveraging the group's global network."
