Naru Security, a cyber threat management company, said on July 9 it won an AA rating under Inno-Biz, a certification programme for technology-innovative small and medium-sized companies.
Naru Security said its zero-trust, subscription-based breach assessment service ZeroTiCA was highly rated for originality and commercial potential.
ZeroTiCA assumes attackers may have already penetrated an internal network and identifies whether an intrusion has occurred, the attack path, the scope of impact and priority response measures. It provides more than anomaly detection alerts, with threat response experts conducting detailed data analysis to determine whether a breach occurred and support follow-up responses.
Naru Security said it plans to use the certification to diversify its customer base and revenue structure, based on technology stability verified at large companies and the scalability of its subscription business. It also plans to speed up efforts to target the security-as-a-service market for small and mid-sized companies.
Kim Hyuk-joon (김혁준), Naru Security's chief executive, said the AA rating was the result of objective recognition of the innovation and business potential of its breach assessment and verification technology. He said the company will continue to advance AI-based autonomous defence system technology as AI-driven attacks spread and the importance of cyber threat management grows, and will strengthen market competitiveness to build a foundation for growth toward a KOSDAQ listing.
