SK Telecom said on Thursday it launched three versions of Google’s AI subscription service, Google AI Plan, on its subscription service platform T Universe.

Google AI Plan is a subscription product that offers higher usage limits for Google’s latest AI features and models, including Gemini, and expands cloud storage capacity.

The Google AI Plan products launched by SKT are Google AI Pro, Google AI Plus 2TB and Google AI Plus 400GB. SKT is offering Google AI Plus 400GB, the entry product of Google AI Plan, at a discounted price. The company said it is the first in South Korea to introduce an entry-level AI subscription product on a subscription platform.

Google AI Pro is offered at 26,900 won a month, 2,100 won cheaper than the regular price. Google AI Plus 2TB is offered at 10,900 won a month with a 1,000 won discount. Google AI Plus 400GB is 6,900 won a month with a 600 won discount.

SKT also provides Google AI Plan and online video service (OTT) benefits to subscribers of its new Best Pro and Best Max plans launched on Wednesday. Subscribers can choose one of five OTT services along with Google AI Plan: YouTube Premium, Netflix, Disney+, Tving and Wavve.

Lee Seung-ha (이승하), SKT’s product lead, said, "We have prepared subscription products so customers can use AI services on reasonable terms." He added, "We will continue to expand practical benefits that customers can feel."
