NCSoft has set up a Steam page for its new open-world shooting game and begun releasing information in earnest.
On Tuesday, NCSoft opened the Steam page for 'Cinder City', a new title in development by Big Fire Games, and released a new game introduction video.
'Cinder City' is a new title being developed as an open-world cinematic third-person shooter. It highlights as core features a cinematic shooter that emphasises visuals and immersion, a vast open world set in a destroyed Seoul and large-scale multiplayer player-versus-environment (PvE) content in which multiple players cooperate and take on challenges depending on the situation.
Users can visit the Steam page to check key information such as game details and screenshots, and receive the latest news by adding it to their wish list.
The new video released on the Steam page features Samuel King, lead concept artist, and Shin Ga-hye (신가혜), project manager, introducing the game in person.
The video offers a glimpse of a dystopian Seoul destroyed by mutants and criminal organisations, and a narrative-driven story progression structure in which the main character, 'Seven', carries out missions to save his daughter, 'Joy'. NCSoft also plans to revamp its brand website and open an official Discord channel to share various updates on the development of 'Cinder City'.
