NHN Cloud, NHN Dooray and DB Financial Investment said on Monday they signed a strategic partnership for work innovation.

The signing ceremony was held a day earlier at DB Financial Investment's headquarters. Executives from the three companies attended, including DB Financial Investment CEO Kwak Bong-seok (곽봉석), NHN Cloud managing director Na Hong-seok (나홍석) and NHN Dooray CEO Baek Chang-yeol (백창열).

Under the agreement, DB Financial Investment will introduce the all-in-one AI collaboration tool Dooray across the company. It integrates email, projects, messaging, e-approvals and work management functions. The build will begin in the second half of this year and aims to open within the year.

The subscription-based AI service Dooray AI will also be applied. Dooray AI supports a range of large language models, including ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. LLMs introduced later can be selected in line with a customer's security policy.

A dedicated infrastructure separation service, which provides a customer-specific environment, will also be applied to the project to meet financial-sector security requirements.

The three companies plan to expand cooperation beyond the Dooray build in areas including setting mid- to long-term digital transformation strategies, building an AI-based work innovation system, advancing a cloud-based work environment, internalising digital capabilities and developing new cloud and DX business models.

A DB Financial Investment official said the company will build an efficient work environment based on NHN's cloud infrastructure, collaboration platform and AI capabilities.

An NHN Cloud official said it is an integrated service that meets financial-sector security requirements and demand for SaaS use at the same time by providing dedicated infrastructure and collaboration tools together. The official added that the company will continue to prepare standard services that allow financial companies to use the strengths of cloud and SaaS.
