Jeju Bank has filed a patent application for a core technology used in its AI-based corporate cash management service, AI CFO. The bank plans to combine companies’ ERP data with financial data to forecast future cash flows and ease cash management burdens for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Jeju Bank said on Monday it had filed a patent application for an AI-based future cash flow forecasting model, the first such filing by a regional bank.
The patent covers a technology that fuses companies’ ERP data with financial data to predict cash inflows and outflows in advance. It is a core original technology for the AI CFO service being developed in cooperation with Douzone Bizon and Techfin Ratings.
The technology works by integrating and analysing internal business information such as expected sales and purchases with financial information to identify in advance the possibility of future cash shortages or surpluses. Jeju Bank plans to use it to strengthen AI-based corporate finance competitiveness and expand digital inclusive finance.
Jeju Bank CEO Hee-soo Lee (이희수) said, "We will support systematic cash management for small and medium-sized enterprises based on AI and data, and continue to expand digital inclusive finance that grows together with customers."
