Shinhan Financial Group on Tuesday held the 'Shinhan SuperSOL Open Day' at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with group customers and affiliate CEOs in attendance, and unveiled a new integrated financial platform.
'Shinhan Super SOL' is an all-in-one financial platform that integrates banking, securities, card and life functions into a single app.
Its flagship new product, 'Shinhan SOL LINK', is a hybrid account that combines a bank deposit and withdrawal account with stock investment functions. Stock trading fees are 0.01 percent for domestic stocks and 0.07 percent for overseas stocks.
It will also run a launch event. Customers who trade stocks worth at least 1 million won through Shinhan SOL LINK will be entered into a weekly draw to receive a Tesla vehicle.
First-time app visitors will receive benefits worth up to 15,000 won depending on mission completion. The customer event begins on July 1.
The new Super SOL is available for iOS users to update and download from Tuesday. Android users will be able to access it in stages from Tuesday through June 30.
