: WinstechNet-Chung-Ang University Artificial Intelligence Institute MOU signing venue

WinstechNet, an information security company, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chung-Ang University Artificial Intelligence Institute on research into AI-based security technologies, it said on Monday.

The two sides plan to cooperate in various areas including joint research on AI security technologies, as well as participation and support for seminars, internships and industry-academia cooperation programmes.

WinstechNet recently launched its generative AI data security product, SNIPER AIVAX, to respond to various security threats that could arise in a generative AI environment, stepping up its push into the AI security market.

A WinstechNet official said, "As the use of generative AI expands, the importance of security technologies to protect AI itself is rising rapidly." The official said the company has been continuing to expand research and development and business investment in AI security, starting with the recent launch of SNIPER AIVAX, and will secure global-level competitiveness in AI security technologies through cooperation with the Chung-Ang University Artificial Intelligence Institute.
