Autonomous security operations company Toruq has acquired cybersecurity startup Jit.io, SiliconANGLE reported on May 19 local time.
The deal size was not disclosed. Founded in 2021, Jit has technology that creates AI-based context graphs for use in security investigations.
Jit's AI context graph maps relationships among code, identities, roles, permissions, data sensitivity and runtime behavior within an organization. It helps AI agents assess risk in business context rather than through fragmented alerts.
Toruq plans to integrate Jit's technology into its AI SOC (Security Operations Center) platform.
Toruq's existing agents analyzed alerts and signals coming from external tools. With the Jit graph, they can add organization-specific layers and more accurately identify what an alert actually means within a given company.
Toruq's strategy is to integrate with Jit to support autonomous threat blocking and prevention with higher reliability than alert-based workflows. Ofer Smadari (오퍼 스마다리), Toruq's co-founder and CEO, said it is combining Jit's AI context graph and agent technology with the Toruq AI SOC platform to build a proactive cyber defense system.
