LG Electronics said on May 17 it has launched a subscription service exclusively for its premium brands SKS and LG Signature. The structure assigns top-tier specialists to the entire process, from consulting to delivery, installation, care and after-sales service. SKS covers 9 models, including column refrigerators, freezers and wine cellars, ice water purifier refrigerators, island refrigerators, dishwashers, induction cooktops, lightwave ovens and steam ovens. LG Signature is offered in 5 models, including WashCombo, ice water purifier refrigerators, KnockON Magic Space four-door refrigerators, three-door refrigerators and wine cellars.

SKS is an ultra-premium built-in home appliance brand that combines LG Electronics' core component technology with AI features and design. LG Signature aims for differentiated performance, refined design and intuitive usability. The new subscription service is distinguished from existing subscription services in that it targets only the product lines of the two brands.

Subscriptions are available only at offline stores such as LG Best Shop and SKS Seoul. This is to provide tailored consultations that take into account home layouts and interiors. Customers can check product design, materials, finishing and functions in person and choose care service options. Delivery and installation are handled by specialists selected based on experience and proficiency and trained through a separate programme. For SKS built-ins, the company said experts with extensive on-site experience handle tailored precision installation.

Regular visit care services are handled by professional service engineers rather than care managers. They receive integrated training in maintenance, including disassembly, cleaning and replacement, along with expertise in product materials, component structures, operating principles and AI features. This enables a one-stop service that performs care and product inspections at the same time.

Lee Sung-jin (이성진), head of subscription sales at LG Electronics' Korea Sales Division, said, "Subscriptions for SKS and LG Signature are a solution that makes customers' daily lives more convenient and refined." He added, "We will provide customers with a different level of space experience and differentiated professional care services at the same time."
