Lemon Corporation, a unit of StageFive, launched a mobile phone price comparison service called Hubble on Wednesday.
Hubble compares mobile phone quotes from nearby phone shops based on a user's location. Instead of consumers visiting multiple shops to check prices, the service is structured so phone shops send quotes to users.
Applying artificial intelligence (AI) is another feature. An AI-based automatic sales price update function reflects the latest prices from phone shops every day. Shops can reduce repetitive manual work, while users can quickly check the latest information. It also supports chat with phone shops.
Hubble can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Lemon Corporation will also launch next month a tablet consultation app, Hubble Consulting, for use at phone shops.
A Lemon Corporation official said, "We plan to continue upgrading the service so it can provide an easier and faster purchasing experience for consumers and a more efficient consultation and operating environment for sellers."
