[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] German agentic AI startup Synera has raised $40 million, SiliconANGLE reported on April 14 local time.
Synera will use the funds to expand its engineering automation platform and to enter the United States, Asia-Pacific and European markets.
Founded in 2018, Synera provides an agentic AI platform for industrial engineering teams. The platform helps AI agents autonomously execute complex product development workflows by linking design, simulation and optimisation processes into an integrated system. Synera's platform integrates with more than 80 computer-aided design and engineering tools. It runs on-premises on customer infrastructure, so engineering data does not leave the company.
Synera CEO Moritz Maier (모리츠 마이어), who holds a doctorate, said, "Engineering is the foundation of every industrial company, but until recently it has been one of the functions that AI has barely been able to reach, and that has not been digitised or automated."
