Bithumb said on April 13 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Circle Internet Group, a global internet finance platform company, to explore cooperation opportunities related to digital asset infrastructure and stablecoin technology.

Under the MOU, the two companies will jointly review technical integration measures, including multichain functions within the Bithumb platform, and ways to support stablecoin infrastructure. They also plan to pursue various initiatives to improve understanding of the stablecoin and digital asset ecosystem.

A Bithumb official said, "This MOU is an important milestone in further strengthening cooperation with Circle and advancing our platform's digital asset infrastructure." The official added, "We will continue to support market development in a way that complies with regulatory standards."
