Stablecoin transactions on the XRP Ledger (XRP Ledger) are increasing rapidly. Over the past 30 days, stablecoin transfer volume totaled $1.77 billion, up 91.9 percent from the previous figure.

The Crypto Basic, a blockchain outlet, reported on April 11, citing RWA.xyz data, that over the same period stablecoin market capitalisation on XRPL rose 7.51 percent to $432.26 million and the number of holders increased 7.99 percent to 56,830. The figures show that stablecoin use on the network is translating into more actual transfer activity, beyond an increase in issuance.

Much of the increase was led by RLUSD, a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Ripple. RLUSD market capitalisation rose 6.93 percent over 30 days to $336.8 million and accounted for about 78 percent of the XRPL stablecoin market. This shows how central RLUSD is to activity on XRPL.

RLUSD is also continuing to grow. After launching on XRPL and Ethereum in December 2024, RLUSD recorded quarterly trading volume of $500 million in the second quarter of 2025. It then surpassed $1 billion in market capitalisation in November 2025 and ended 2025 at about $1.33 billion. It was listed on Binance in January 2026, with trading initially supported on Ethereum and later on XRPL.

XRPL has been broadening its stablecoin lineup beyond RLUSD. XSGD launched in May 2025, and EURØP and USDB also joined the network that month. BBRL launched earlier in 2025, and USDC entered XRPL around mid-June 2025. Multiple stablecoins have flowed in as XRPL expands as a payment network.

By contrast, real-world asset (RWA) metrics showed a different pattern from stablecoins. The value of distributed assets fell 3.44 percent over 30 days to $410.1 million, while the value of representative assets rose 2.23 percent to $1.53 billion. The number of RWA holders rose 4.17 percent to 25, and the number of assets on the network was tallied at 289.

Over the past 30 days, RWA transfer volume fell 25.41 percent to $111.78 million. This shows that RWA market momentum on XRPL was relatively slower than in the stablecoin segment. Key assets contributing to RWA value included RLUSD, Ondo, CRX Digital Asset, Braza Crypto and Gconomy. The asset classes consisted of U.S. Treasuries, credit products, commodities and cash-like products.

The data show that stablecoin use on XRPL, which has a strong payments and remittances character, is expanding rapidly, while the RWA segment is seeing slower turnover in transactions amid maintained asset scale and limited growth. As a result, near-term attention is expected to focus on stablecoin expansion led by RLUSD and whether RWA trading recovers on XRPL.
