AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea and part-time jobs platform Albamon, both operated by Worksphere, said on Sunday their combined annual job applications in 2025 neared 100 million.

The company said combined applications on JobKorea and Albamon in 2025 topped 95 million. That works out to 19 applications per job seeker a year, up 14.9 percent from the previous year.

Annual cumulative listing views last year exceeded 2.3 billion, and job-change offers generated on JobKorea and Albamon totalled more than 12 million. JobKorea said the introduction of AI Recommendation 2.0 led job seekers to apply more even after reviewing fewer postings than before.

Albamon also said it helped build trust in the employment market by launching features including Recommend and a Direct-to-Work and Hiring function. It added that it increased user time spent and improved convenience for business owners through a community renewal and the introduction of the AI prompt-based "AlbamuMulbot."

Marking its 30th anniversary and reorganised into an HR group structure, JobKorea plans to launch its corporate business centre, Hiring Center, in the first half of this year. It is designed as a space to manage all postings registered on JobKorea and Albamon and applicant status through a single dashboard, bringing together data that had been scattered across services to help users grasp at a glance everything from posting registrations to applicant information and hiring progress.

JobKorea CEO Hyun-joon Yoon (윤현준) said, "Data from more than 95 million applications is not just traffic but a living indicator that shows the flow of South Korea's labour market." He said, "Worksphere plans to accelerate the evolution into an era of 'proposal-based hiring' through a shift to an AI agent-centric platform and provide a more sophisticated connection experience for both companies and job seekers."
