Lotte Wellfood said on March 24 it signed an official sponsorship agreement with the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) for the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League.

Lotte Wellfood and KBO held a sponsorship signing ceremony on March 23 at the Korea Baseball Hall in Seoul's Gangnam district. Attendees included Lotte Wellfood CEO Seo Jeong-ho (서정호), Lotte Wellfood marketing head Bae Seong-woo (배성우) and KBO Commissioner Heo Gu-yeon (허구연), among other key officials.

Lotte Wellfood plans promotions in line with major KBO events including the regular season and the All-Star Game. It will first apply designs of KBO's 10 clubs to packaging for Pepero, Xylitol and Kkokkalcorn products. The designs will reflect elements such as each club's logo, uniform and mascot. It also plans a prize event for customers who verify purchases of the packages.

It will also launch a goods planning pack for 5 products: Pepero, Xylitol, Kkokkalcorn, Mon Cher and Crunky chocolate bars. Each package will include a random goods capsule containing either a metal badge or an acrylic keyring, along with a player-profile sticker. The goods will be produced in designs combining Lotte Wellfood brands and club mascots, and designs emphasizing each club's symbolism. Lotte Wellfood plans to continue social network service (SNS) marketing and on-site promotions in cooperation with KBO.

A Lotte Wellfood official said, "We hope fans who visit ballparks or enjoy games at home can feel more fun watching baseball through the collaboration products and goods."
