[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Web3 enabler Parameta (PARAMET) was officially invited to the 45th ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) and related events held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from Feb. 2 to 4, where it unveiled a new cross-border transaction standard model using blockchain technology.
Parameta delivered a presentation in the forum's Digital Bond Market Forum (DBMF) session. The session was chaired by South Korean figures including Korea Securities Depository executive director Joong-hoon Park (CSIF vice chair and acting chair) and Yonsei University Professor Seok Hyun (DBMF chair), who led discussions on digital innovation in Asian finance.
On the final day of the event on Feb. 4, Parameta Chief Strategy Officer Jung-hoon Lee (이정훈) presented on a "wallet-based eligibility layer for cross-border participation in digital bonds".
The key focus of the presentation was Parameta's on-chain Know Your Customer (KYC) technology, aimed at helping remove investment barriers between countries with different regulations.
Lee said, "Our goal is to create a world where people can safely invest in financial products around the globe with a single wallet," adding, "Following this presentation at the ADB-hosted forum, we will work to make Parameta's on-chain KYC technology a global standard for Asia's digital finance market."
