KB Kookmin Bank on Monday newly introduced the KB Senior Happiness Lounge, a lounge-style specialised outlet, at its Gajadong branch in Gajadong, Seo-gu, Incheon.
The KB Senior Happiness Lounge is a senior-customer tailored space created to help seniors and other financially vulnerable groups use financial services more conveniently.
The lounge has dedicated staff who provide quick support for financial services frequently used by older customers, including deposits and withdrawals, passbook reissuance and pension payments, through an express counter. It has also set up a space equipped with massage chairs, a blood pressure monitor and a coffee machine to create a comfortable environment for older customers.
KB Kookmin Bank also operates the KB Senior Lounge, a mobile branch format, to improve financial access for seniors and financially vulnerable groups. At the KB Golden Life Advisory Center Jongno Pyeongchang, which opened in December last year, it also provides senior-tailored life-care services such as specialised consultations on inheritance and gifts.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said the KB Senior Happiness Lounge was created as an open space that both improves convenience for older customers' financial use and allows communication with local residents. The official said the bank will continue its role as a reliable financial partner through financial services that accompany senior customers across their lives.
