Bithumb said on Feb. 5 it will run a promotion with recruitment platform Jinhaksa Catch offering benefits worth up to 100,000 won to new Bithumb members.
Under the promotion, users who sign up for Bithumb and complete customer verification (KYC) will receive 20,000 won in Bithumb investment support immediately. The support can be withdrawn after 1 transaction.
During the event period, users can receive an additional 50,000 won in Bithumb points by entering a coupon code for new members provided on Bithumb's event page into the Bithumb app.
Bithumb will also provide a 30,000 won Starbucks voucher to members who complete new signup, customer verification and coupon code entry, for total benefits worth up to 100,000 won.
A Bithumb official said, "This promotion was designed so users who are encountering digital asset trading for the first time can experience Bithumb without 부담," and added, "We plan to continue expanding partnerships with various platforms."
