[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Smart factory company Miracom Inc held Semiconductor Innovation Summit 2026 on Jan. 27 at Shilla Stay in Cheonan for C-level executives from semiconductor materials, parts and equipment firms and OSAT companies.

The seminar was organised to share the latest manufacturing trends and technology insights with semiconductor materials, parts and equipment firms and OSAT companies. Speakers said semiconductor manufacturing is shifting away from people-centred operations and moving toward unmanned automation based on AX (AI Transformation) and RX (Robotics Transformation). They also presented strategies and implementation directions companies should prepare across key areas including manufacturing logistics, production, quality and equipment.

Miracom Inc is positioning this year as the first year to fully step up its manufacturing AI business. To that end, Miracom Inc unveiled Nexphere AI, its in-house manufacturing-focused AI, last year.

According to the company, Nexphere AI analyses vast amounts of data from manufacturing sites to derive and provide insights that can improve productivity and quality without manual work. It also supports LLM-based collaboration assistance functions.

Young-shin Lim (임영신), head of strategic marketing at Miracom Inc, said manufacturing AI transformation in the semiconductor industry is no longer a choice but a key task to secure global competitiveness. He said Miracom would go beyond simply supplying solutions and become a technology partner that supports semiconductor companies in implementing AX- and RX-based transformation on the ground.
