NH NongHyup Bank's AI and data division held a business drive pledge meeting on Jan. 28 at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, and declared a full-scale leap to an Agentic AI Bank, it said on Thursday.
The meeting went beyond simply sharing business plans and reflected a strong commitment to building an Agentic AI Bank in which AI naturally permeates customers' financial daily lives.
Participants discussed directions for innovation in financial services, centering on an AI Agent First strategy along with plans to push this year's core agenda.
The division also invited external experts for lectures on regulatory trends, including the AI Basic Act and the legislation of STOs, as well as AI trends, offering employees new insights for pushing the business forward.
Kim Ju-sik (김주식), an executive vice president who attended the meeting, said, "I will continue to push company-wide AX so we can build NH NongHyup Bank that makes customers smile and achieves shared growth with them."
