Vertical digital transformation (DX) solution firm Platier said on Tuesday it has formed a consortium with KT and won a project to build Jeju Bank’s generative AI (GenAI) platform. Platier will supply its agentic AI platform, XGEN.

Jeju Bank plans to introduce a companywide “one agent per department” system based on the platform buildout. It set out key directions including building an AI work environment for employees, establishing a data-driven decision-making system and implementing customer-focused intelligent financial services.

XGEN supports an on-premises environment and a network-separation structure that prevent internal corporate data from leaking outside, and has sophisticated access control policies that meet security requirements in the financial sector, the company said. A no-code visual canvas editor allows non-developers to build agents for financial tasks.

Jeju Bank plans to use XGEN to apply AI in stages across core financial operations, including support for generating review reports, automation of internal control and continuous monitoring, and analysis for know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML).

Jin Byung-kwon (진병권), head of Platier’s ECS AX business division, said the Jeju Bank case proved that XGEN can meet financial-sector security requirements such as on-premises deployment, network separation and internal controls. He said the company would expand XGEN-based proofs of concept (PoC) to a range of industries including manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals and defense.
