zkSync will officially end node and infrastructure support for its Lite version from May 4, 2026. The ecosystem will then be integrated around the Era product suite.
According to an official announcement, the step is part of efforts to concentrate resources and development capabilities on the zkSync Era mainnet and ecosystem. It is also intended to simplify the protocol structure and reduce duplicate maintenance and community fragmentation.
zkSync plans to provide a separate migration guide for Lite users and developers to support a smooth transition.
