Hana Financial Group said on Jan. 18 it held an employee volunteer activity on Jan. 17 to make toys for infants and toddlers for families of unwed mothers to mark the New Year.

About 100 members of the Hana Love Volunteer Group, made up of group employees and their families, hand-sewed infant rattles using organic fabric.

Employees and family members who took part completed the infant toys by carrying out the entire process, from sewing to final packaging.

Hana Financial Group also prepared happiness boxes containing childcare essentials. The boxes include the infant rattle as well as eight childcare items in total such as baby lotion, baby detergent and baby handkerchiefs, and are to be delivered to shelters for unwed mothers and welfare facilities for single-parent families.

A Hana Financial Group official said employees took part with one heart to provide even a small help to families of unwed mothers who need infant care. The official said Hana Financial Group would continue to grow together with neighbours and local communities in need.
