Seol carried out digital forensics-based investigations and analysis when malware infections, web hacking and other security incidents or suspected situations occurred at the Seoul city government and its affiliated agencies.

The company said Jo was selected as an award recipient in recognition of his contributions as head of the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA). It said he has led policy proposals and external communication to develop domestic information security and strengthen competitiveness and the industry ecosystem. As a corporate chief executive, he also advanced network security technology and devoted himself to the growth of the information security industry and the strengthening of its institutional foundation, it said.
