Bitwise has launched an ETF based on the Chainlink (LINK) token and will list it on NYSE Arca, The Block reported on Jan. 14.
Matt Hougan, Bitwise chief investment officer, said, "With CLNK, investors can gain access to a core layer of the blockchain economy." He added, "Chainlink serves as a bridge connecting real-world data to blockchains."
Chainlink is an oracle network that connects blockchains to external data. Major DeFi protocols such as Aave and Polymarket, as well as traditional financial institutions such as JPMorgan and Mastercard, also use it.
Fees for the Bitwise Chainlink ETF are set at 0.34 percent. Fees are waived for the first three months for up to $500 million.
