AI, cloud and security company MegazoneCloud held the Games on AWS 2026 event with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and GS Neotek and shared AI utilisation strategies and the direction of technological innovation for the gaming industry.
The event featured more than 15 sessions across three tracks: operational efficiency based on AI agents, accelerated game development using AI, and modernisation based on cloud-native architecture. Major game companies and technology firms including Nexon, Krafton and Kakao Games took part and introduced cases of innovation in game development and operations using AI.
Gil-ju Seo (서길주), head of MegazoneCloud's AIR Innovation Unit, presented on the theme of defining an AI governance framework for the full-scale AX of the game industry. "For game companies and other businesses to reliably introduce AI agents into core tasks, they need to diagnose work processes and their systems and data environment, and put in place organisation-level decision criteria and accountability systems, as well as approval procedures," he explained.
He added, "MegazoneCloud is supporting the establishment of corporate AI governance based on its technical capabilities in AI, cloud and security." He also said, "Through the enterprise AI OS 'AIR Studio', we provide an environment in which companies can use AI safely and efficiently by integrating management of AI model usage and costs, access rights and security policies."
