SK Telecom said on Tuesday it will hold an exclusive rental event for the musical 'Chicago' for long-term customers who have subscribed for 10 years or more.
The event will be held on Dec. 8. Choi Jung-won (최정원) and Ivy (아이비), lead actors in 'Chicago', will appear as Velma and Roxie. It is the first performance this season in which the two take the stage together.
SKT will invite a total of 1,299 people, including long-term customers and their companions. It plans to allow customers with longer subscription periods to watch the performance from seats closer to the stage. After the performance, the cast will hold a special stage greeting. Gifts and on-site events will also be provided for participating customers.
Customers who want to participate can apply by selecting tickets for 1 or 2 people on the event page under the 'T Long-term Customer' menu in the T Membership app. The application period runs through Nov. 17.
SKT also revamped the name and operating system of its 'T Long-term Customer Program' this year to expand benefits for long-term customers. It improved the T Membership app home screen so users can immediately check related benefits. It also ran hands-on programs such as 'Forest Vacation Day', 'Table Day' and 'Adventure Day'.
In a survey of customers who took part in events this year, event satisfaction, willingness to recommend and intention to continue using SKT all topped 90 percent. It also explained that the cancellation rate for participating customers was nearly half that of non-participating customers.
Yoon Jae-woong (윤재웅), head of SKT's Product & Brand Division, said: "We will continue to expand differentiated experiences and benefits so that customers want to stay with SKT longer."
