Dataline, a decentralised data network for AI agents, has raised $10.6 million in seed funding and is preparing a public token sale, The Block reported on Tuesday.
The investment was co-led by Lattice and Dispersion Capital, which has investments from Samsung, the report said. Coinbase Ventures, Symbolic Capital and Anagram also participated.
Dataline raised the funds through a simple agreement for future equity (SAFE) with token warrants attached, The Block said. Its valuation was not disclosed.
Dataline provides data that AI agents can use as needed and pay for. It handles both on-chain and off-chain data, and developers can connect agents to multiple data sources through the Dataline platform. It supports agents in deciding whether to trust and use data by scoring its reliability, freshness and consistency.
Nuo Xu (누오 시), a Dataline co-founder, said, "A stablecoin trading at $0.97 could be a bargain, or it could be a signal of depegging." He said simple price information cannot distinguish between the two.
Dataline currently supports about 50 data sources. Hyperliquid, Polymarket, Kalshi, Base and Robinhood Chain are supporting the project as Dataline's first partners.
Developers on Base and Robinhood Chain can use Dataline for free.
Dataline will also launch a token this year. Users will be able to buy data and access services using the token. Users will not need to pay a monthly subscription fee. If they lock up tokens for a certain period, they can continue to receive data during that time.
The public token sale is set to take place on Base using Uniswap's auction system, called a continuous liquidation auction (CCA). Details will be disclosed next week.
Dataline plans to use the funds raised in this round to expand its data sources and upgrade its verification functions. It also plans to expand into robotics and AI training data.
