Manufacturing AI transformation (AX) company VNTG said on Oct. 15 it will work with Microsoft Korea to build an execution framework for manufacturers' AX transformation.
The partnership centers on VNTG leading on-site execution, while Microsoft supports development of required technical capabilities and securing a partner ecosystem.
Under the agreement, VNTG will cooperate with Microsoft in four areas: building the execution framework, securing initial AX projects and references, joint business development and market entry (GTM), and building an alliance ecosystem.
VNTG will link Microsoft's enterprise technologies to its own solutions and services. It will establish an end-to-end execution framework tailored to each company's environment, ranging from equipment data collection and integration to analysis and forecasting, and AI agent-based business automation.
Based on the framework, VNTG will work with Microsoft to identify AX business opportunities for manufacturers. It will also explore additional business opportunities and the potential to expand the market based on accumulated cases and customer touchpoints with manufacturers.
Tae-geun Kim (김태근), CEO of VNTG, said, "VNTG has executed AX from start to finish on manufacturing sites," and added, "By adding Microsoft technology to this experience, we will help domestic manufacturers move beyond the stage of testing AI to the stage of delivering results on the ground." Won-woo Cho (조원우), CEO of Microsoft Korea, said, "Manufacturers' AI adoption has now entered a stage where, beyond scale, the depth of transformation and tangible results are important," and added, "We will support Microsoft AI and cloud technologies leading to tangible innovation and results for domestic manufacturers by working with VNTG, which has deep expertise in manufacturing sites."
