[Digital Today reporter Sangyeop Oh] Toss Securities is strengthening its investment information services using artificial intelligence (AI).

Toss Securities said on Tuesday it has revamped its investment information service by gathering key market information in one place and using AI to summarise and explain the main points.

The company said the newly introduced market tab lets users view major domestic and global indexes and flows, stock market trends and real-time market charts on a single screen. It automatically switches the main indexes displayed depending on trading hours in the South Korean and U.S. markets.

The 'AI Market Summary' feature provides an AI-organised rundown of the day's key market moves. The content is updated hourly, and users can also check major backgrounds behind index and stock movements through detailed reports.

In 'Market trends', users can check sector-by-sector gains and losses and stock flows, and in 'Real-time market charts' the service provides real-time rankings for trading volume and sharply rising and falling stocks. It also shows trading trends by foreign investors and institutions to help users grasp fund flows among key investment players.

It also expanded features in its AI-based 'Real-time issues' service, launched in March. While it previously focused on selecting and providing key investment issues, it has added a function that explains the background and how each issue unfolded.

The 'AI Wiki' explains economic and financial terms, and the 'Issue timeline' shows how major issues developed in chronological order. In 'AI chatting', users can ask questions about issues they are interested in and check answers based on related articles and other sources.

A Toss Securities official said, "We will continue to use AI technology to build an investment information environment that people can understand broadly and in depth."
