Toss Bank will refurbish 46 laptops it used for work and donate them for digital and AI education for seniors and people with disabilities, among others. The initiative aims to support both access to digital education and resource circulation by reusing usable IT assets.

Toss Bank said on Tuesday it will donate 46 work laptops to the 'Digital·AI Literacy Learning Center' operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Lifelong Education.

The donated laptops will be delivered to the learning center operators within this month and used as training devices for literacy learners who are older adults and people with disabilities to learn digital and AI technologies.

Toss Bank worked with the Korea IT Welfare Promotion Agency to select devices that can be used in education settings. The laptops, after internal data deletion and asset removal procedures, underwent performance checks and refurbishment in August, and 46 were ultimately selected for educational use.

A Toss Bank official said, "We will continue to use our resources and capabilities to support those who need help amid changes in the digital environment."
