Fasoo AI said on Oct. 13 it was named Security Solution of the Year in the retail industry category at the 2026 Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards for its AI security solution AI-R DLP (AI Radar DLP).

The Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards are a security technology awards program run by global market research firm Tech Breakthrough. They mark their 10th edition this year.

The award-winning product, AI-R DLP, is a solution that detects and blocks in real time leaks of sensitive information, such as personal data and corporate secrets, during use of generative AI services including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

Using natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning technologies, it identifies sensitive information contained in prompts and attached files according to context. It applies security policies such as blocking transmission or masking. It also supports data detection under the national network security framework (N2SF) used by South Korean public institutions.

Jong-gon Son (손종곤), an executive director at Fasoo AI, said, "Building on this award, we will expand support for AI transformation (AX) based on data security and governance and speed up our push into global markets."
