A Solana (SOL) spot ETF will be additionally listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange on Oct. 13 local time. The product is Hong Kong’s second spot Solana ETF.

Blockchain outlet U.Today reported that Pandofi Finance confirmed Oct. 13 as the launch date for its Solana ETF.

With the listing, Hong Kong expands its lineup of regulated cryptocurrency investment products by another step. Investors can gain exposure to Solana’s price through an exchange-traded index product without holding Solana directly. Solana also shared the information on X, formerly known as Twitter, on the day and announced the launch of the new product.

Pandofi Finance’s product comes as institutional demand increases. U.Today reported that Pandofi Finance “officially disclosed the launch date for the highly anticipated Solana fund.” Market interest from institutions in Solana investment products is rising rapidly.

The figures also show the trend. As of Oct. 12, global Solana spot ETFs had net assets of about $1.9 billion. Cumulative net inflows total $1.61 billion. If new products are added, the Solana spot ETF market could move closer to $2 billion in size.

Still, larger inflows do not follow automatically. U.Today noted that even if the new fund enters the market, it “does not guarantee additional net inflows or a price increase.” That means listing itself and actual inflows are separate.

Hong Kong has recently broadened its position as a hub for blockchain technology and related investment products. With one more Solana spot ETF added, the range of regulated crypto products in the region has also expanded. In particular, investors who do not want to store tokens directly gain another way to get indirect exposure through an exchange.

At the same time, the scope of the Solana ecosystem’s entry into the mainstream continues to broaden. With the listing, Solana strengthens access to spot ETF-based investment in the Hong Kong market. Key points to watch are whether actual inflows follow after the new listing and whether total net assets of Solana spot ETFs exceed $2 billion.
