[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee] Shiba Inu's net exchange inflows over 24 hours fell to about 65 billion SHIB, suggesting selling pressure that grew after the recent crypto market correction has eased somewhat.
On Oct. 11 (local time), blockchain media outlet U.Today reported that CryptoQuant data showed Shiba Inu's net exchange inflows, which had previously risen to several hundred billion SHIB, fell to 65 billion SHIB as of Oct. 10.
Net exchange inflows mean the amount entering exchanges is greater than the amount leaving. With the figure still positive, Shiba Inu has not fully exited a selling-dominant phase. Still, the sharp drop in net inflows indicates selling that poured in during the market downturn is declining compared with earlier levels.
A steep fall across cryptocurrencies recently increased risk-off sentiment at major exchanges. As retail investors' anxiety grew, trading in major altcoins including Shiba Inu also tilted to the downside. Shiba Inu's exchange activity has not fully recovered in this trend, but the data show signs that bearish investors are gradually leaving the market.
Even so, the bearish trend has been easing in recent days. Net inflows remaining positive means the amount of SHIB entering exchanges for selling is about 65 billion SHIB more than outflows intended for buying. Selling dominance persists, but selling volume has fallen sharply from earlier levels.
Shiba Inu's price has also moved back into gains. With pressure from exchange inflows easing and prices rebounding, the market is watching for the possibility that investor sentiment returns and demand flows back into the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
With net inflows still positive, some in the market say the actual supply-demand structure remains closer to selling dominance. Analysts say that if the current trend continues, meme coins could enter a phase of sharp recovery. Going forward, whether net exchange inflows fall further and whether the price rebound proves only temporary are expected to be key indicators determining Shiba Inu's next direction.
