KT said on Thursday it has launched an "AI interviews" service on its small business integrated platform Sajang Easy and will roll out its AI-based marketing service SomaAI in late November. It also created a "small business owners" section in the KT Membership Shopping Lounge.
The AI interviews service is a solution that sends an online interview link to applicants, who answer AI-generated questions and submit a self-introduction video. The AI analyses the responses and provides a summary of key points, reducing the burden on small business owners in preparing for and conducting interviews.
SomaAI, set for release in late November, analyses store data and information on nearby commercial areas to propose marketing activities. It supports creating and executing promotional content and analysing performance. KT plans to recruit participants for a trial programme through Oct. 20 and run the service for three weeks starting on Oct. 26.
KT also opened a small business owners section in the Shopping Lounge of the KT Membership app to sell consumables and food ingredients needed for store operations.
KT plans to upgrade Sajang Easy into a small business AX platform that supports hiring and marketing, going beyond existing store management and management information services, through AI interviews and SomaAI.
Son Jeong-yeop (손정엽), managing director and head of KT's Customer Division Device Business Headquarters, said, "We will continue to expand AI-based services so Sajang Easy can become a practical management partner that reduces the workload for small business owners."
