iM Financial Group said it won the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy minister prize in the ESG management category at the 2026 National Contribution Awards ceremony held on Tuesday.

iM Financial was recognised for achievements in environmentally friendly finance, inclusive finance for small merchants and vulnerable groups, and building an ESG management framework.

In a recent assessment by global ESG ratings agency MSCI, it received the top grade of AAA. It also received a CDP rating of A- and an overall A rating from the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS).

Hwang Byung-woo (황병우), chairman of iM Financial, said, "As ESG-related regulations and social demands on financial companies strengthen, we will continue to reinforce ESG management so we can grow together with stakeholders."
