Akamai Korea targets public sector security with zero trust, micro-segmentation
Akamai Korea CEO Lee Kyung-joon (이경준) said the company aims this year to target South Korea’s financial and public-sector security markets and has begun discussions with its global headquarters. He said it is preparing to obtain required certifications, including National Intelligence Service Common Criteria, and will challenge the public market with zero-trust security. Akamai’s strategy centres on Guardicore micro-segmentation and its cloud-based ZTNA solution, EAA.

Naver to tighten remote work rules next year, introduces prior consultation for Type R
Naver will revamp its work system from January next year to require employees to consult their organisation heads before choosing Type R, a work format with a higher share of remote work. Under its Connected Work programme, employees have been able to choose between Type O, which requires office attendance on average at least three times a week, and Type R, which is based on remote work with in-person collaboration at least four times a month.

Urak launches DFAS Pro Mac digital forensics solution for macOS, expands to multi-platform
Urak, an AI digital forensics company, said it has launched DFAS Pro Mac, a forensics solution for Apple’s macOS, expanding its previously Windows-centered response scope to Mac systems. The company said the product supports on-site selection and analysis of digital data and provides Windows-version functions at a similar level on macOS. Urak said it is running pilot projects with existing customers and plans to strengthen third-party software analysis features and add a Linux version within the year.
