World rolls out \'World Money\' finance super app in about 150 countries; features vary by country

Digital identity verification project World has begun distributing its self-custody finance app, World Money, in about 150 countries. The app combines stablecoins, global payments, virtual accounts, trading and yield programs, but what users can access varies by country depending on regulation and supporting infrastructure. It supports balances in eight currencies and username-based transfers, and includes mini apps and an on-chain lending-based Earn feature. World also outlined risks and limits tied to accounts and recovery.

Naver Pay to supply payment infrastructure to Sidae Injae operator, first applied to 11 branches and online

Naver Pay will supply corporate payment infrastructure to Hyconci, which operates Sidae Injae, expanding its B2B payment business into education. The service will be applied first within this year to 11 offline branches nationwide and to an online service, then expanded in stages. The companies will introduce the Npay biz payment solution, supporting Npay Money and points, card payments and virtual account-linked payments. They will also review cooperation in access and attendance authentication using Npay Connect and Facesign.

Cuconn to support National Pension Service public trust project, build funds management system

Cuconn will supply financial infrastructure such as virtual accounts and deposit transfers for the National Pension Service’s pilot “Dementia-Safe Asset Management Service.” Cuconn said on July 14 it provided payment services to support building a trust-asset management system. Under the project, the NPS manages and executes users’ funds as trustee and checks spending records. Cuconn provides services including transaction notices and account-holder checks.
