Naver tightens access to cafe posts and search API data
Naver has barred unauthorised mass collection of posts and comments from its Cafe community service and banned reposting or repackaging the material on external sites without consent. It said it has asked businesses already using Cafe data to stop collecting and delete it, and will consider legal action if rights violations are confirmed. Naver is also revising terms for its developer search API, restricting it to displaying Naver search results and prohibiting use for AI training, answer generation, resale, ads or other profit-making activities.
