MoonPay launches PayBox payment vault for Claude and ChatGPT as AI agents execute transactions
MoonPay has launched PayBox, a payment vault that works inside Claude and ChatGPT, enabling AI agents to prepare transactions on users’ behalf. Users can complete payments and move funds after passkey approval. The product stores crypto wallets and payment cards and supports token swaps, bridging and transfers to DeFi protocols such as Aave across Solana and Ethereum-compatible chains. It also supports the x402 open payments protocol and uses a security model combining multi-party computation and trusted execution environments.

eToro leads $12.5 million investment in onchain derivatives exchange Extended
Trading platform eToro said on July 3 it led a $12.5 million strategic investment in onchain perpetual futures exchange Extended. In a post on X, eToro said the partnership focuses on expanding access to global financial markets through next-generation onchain infrastructure and exploring opportunities to connect traditional financial assets with a decentralised trading environment. Jump Crypto also participated. Extended was founded by former Revolut employees and is built on StarkWare’s StarkEx.

Data released by eToro showed higher allocations to software and AI infrastructure names that fell sharply in the first quarter. Crypto-related exposure also remained intact, while regulators and companies maintained operations even as security concerns and short-term risks persisted.
