Pulmuone steps up digital transformation with app overhaul, expanded AI use and IT expert appointments

Pulmuone is accelerating its digital transformation through an app overhaul and broader use of artificial intelligence across operations. The company plans to appoint a new outside director with digital strategy experience at its regular shareholders meeting on March 31. Pulmuone has set up an AX innovation office and carried out executive reshuffles to expand AI use group-wide. It is also applying AI to product development, customer review analysis and meal demand forecasting.

Biber appoints former Kurly executive Song Seung-hwan as CSO

Biber, a luxury watch trading platform affiliated with Dunamu, has appointed Song Seung-hwan, former head of Life and Fashion at Kurly, as chief strategy officer, it said on Sunday. Song previously held senior roles at eBay Korea and led Kurly’s logistics subsidiary Kurly Nextmile. Biber said it plans to expand beyond luxury watches into alternative investment assets and accelerate its push into global markets.
