Korea FTC resumes review of food delivery app most-favoured-nation case
South Korea\'s Fair Trade Commission has rejected four requests by Baedal Minjok and Coupang Eats for consent decrees, saying the proposed corrective measures were insufficient to open the procedure. The cases involve Baemin\'s alleged demand for most-favoured-nation terms, preferential treatment for its own delivery service and misleading estimated delivery times, and a most-favoured-nation allegation involving Coupang Eats. The rejection restarts the review process to determine violations and possible penalties.
