KISA head Lee Sang-jung dismissed, Ryu Jae-cheol named acting president

Lee Sang-jung (이상중), president of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), has been dismissed, with Ryu Jae-cheol (류재철), a non-executive director and professor at Chungnam National University, taking over as acting president. KISA appointed Ryu to reduce a leadership vacuum. Lee\'s dismissal followed an audit by the Ministry of Science and ICT, which cited issues in agency management including career records, expense spending and budget management.
