Tokenised gold demand returns in crypto market

Tokenised gold drew strong demand again in the crypto market in August, as traders increased trading in tokenised gold and gold perpetual futures. Spot gold recently rose to around $4,600 before easing to about $4,480. Tether’s gold-linked token XAUT traded at $4,474.72 on Sept. 4 and continued to lead on-chain activity, with its market value at $3.15 billion and $59 million of inflows that day.

Bitwise XRP spot ETF daily volume surges past $80 million

Bitwise\'s XRP spot exchange-traded fund posted its highest daily trading volume since launch, topping $80 million. Trading also exceeded $60 million in each of the prior two sessions. The fund recorded a net inflow of $8.25 million in the latest session, lifting cumulative net inflows to about $550.93 million. Total cumulative net inflows across XRP spot ETFs were about $1.57 billion, with assets under management about $1.44 billion.

XRP active addresses top 350,000 as network participation surges on price rebound

Active addresses on the XRP network surged 654.71% in a week, rising from 47,180 to 356,070, alongside a price rebound. XRP climbed to $1.70 on Aug. 22 after trading near $0.9882, then eased to around $1.48 to $1.50. XRP spot ETFs saw $13.82 million of net inflows on Aug. 25, with cumulative net inflows at about $1.57 billion. Futures volumes and large exchange outflows also increased.
