Broadcasting Media Communications Commission orders Channel A, MBN to correct reapproval breaches
South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Communications Commission ordered Channel A and MBN to correct violations of conditions attached to their broadcast reapprovals. Channel A was found to have breached a requirement on independent appointments by having its CEO also serve as an audit committee member, and must fix the issue by the first half of 2027. MBN received corrective orders for failing to implement three business-plan items, including fact-check segments and a viewer feedback section.
