Kakao Entertainment to work with Atlantic Music Group on global K-pop business
Kakao Entertainment will work with U.S.-based Atlantic Music Group to jointly design global growth strategies for K-pop artists and broaden cooperation from music production to distribution and marketing. Kakao Entertainment said on Tuesday it signed a strategic partnership with Atlantic Music Group, a Warner Music Group label. The companies plan to collaborate across market strategy, song camps, featuring, streaming distribution, digital marketing, local TV and radio appearances, and fandom communication.

Stability AI releases new audio model that can create songs over six minutes
Stability AI has released Stable Audio 3.0, a new family of audio models that can generate songs up to 6 minutes 20 seconds long, TechCrunch reported. The lineup includes Small SFX, Small, Medium and Large. Small SFX and Small run on-device and generate up to 2 minutes of audio. Medium and Large can create complete 6 minute 20 second tracks. Stability AI released weights for three models, while Large is paid-only.

Generative AI music startup Suno hits $300 million ARR, paid subscribers top 2 million
AI music generator Suno has reached 2 million paid subscribers and annual recurring revenue of $300 million, TechCrunch reported on Thursday. Three months ago, Suno announced a $250 million funding round that valued the company at $2.45 billion, with annual revenue of about $200 million at the time. Suno uses natural-language prompts to generate music and supports people without music experience.
