FaindersAI selected for deep-tech TIPS to advance AI self-checkout technology
AI retail solutions company FaindersAI said on Wednesday it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups\' 2026 TIPS R&D deep-tech track. The programme provides government R&D funding to technology startups found and backed by private investors. FaindersAI will receive up to 1.5 billion won over three years. It plans to upgrade its Vision Checkout self-checkout technology by developing an AI model that learns from multi-angle 2D images and 3D shape data.
