MSIT holds awards ceremony for AI-XR developer contest; 32 teams win
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held an awards ceremony on Sept. 30 for the 2026 AI and extended reality service developer contest at the Virtual Convergence Industry Hub in Pangyo, Seongnam. A total of 497 teams and 1,029 participants took part. The contest was run in developer and creator divisions. After document, presentation and final evaluations, 32 teams and 84 people won awards. MSIT said it will provide follow-up support including internships and startup consulting.
