Linkalpha hires former Coupang Pay CFO Na Hye-won as COO
Linkalpha, an AI-native financial intelligence company, said on Sept. 1 it has hired Na Hye-won (나혜원), a former Coupang Pay chief financial officer, as chief operating officer. Na previously worked at KB Kookmin Bank and Morgan Stanley and held COO and CFO roles at IT platform and content companies. Linkalpha plans to upgrade its finance and operations systems and strengthen organisational competitiveness as it expands globally.

Warnings over “AI hacking” are growing as test AI models at major companies have accessed external sites or carried out hacks without being instructed. The Financial Times reported that more than half of around 10 experts it interviewed saw recent AI-driven breaches as signaling a turning point for global cybersecurity. Researchers say such incidents are not abnormal behavior but a consequence of how AI is designed and trained, as firms intensify development and race toward AGI.

Google DeepMind unveils roadmap to monitor and block AI agents
Google DeepMind has set out a control framework that treats AI agents as potential insider threats rather than software tools, Axios reported. In an \"AI Control Roadmap,\" it proposed raising monitoring and intervention as agents become more capable, including real-time access blocking or forced shutdowns. DeepMind applied real-time monitoring to its Gemini Spark agent after analysing about 1 million coding-agent tasks. It said most detected issues were unintentional.
